Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a term used to describe the permanent impacts on the brain and body of individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol during pregnancy resulting in a spectrum of physical, neurological, emotional, and behavioural regulation characteristics. This introductory workshop provides participants with awareness of the condition, its presentation and how professionals in schools, healthcare and social care can better recognise and respond to children and young people with FASD.
