Cleveland Police have started a lovely initiative whereby they ask local knitters to knit soft toys that are then given out at accidents and emergency situations such as car crashes, domestic violence call outs etc.
Marie Blythe emailed Rachelle at the Commissioner’s Officer for Victims to advise that it was a great initiative and that we’d be happy to promote it in our next newsletter to schools.
Mr Coppinger, Chief Crime Commissioner and Rachelle have since visited The Bungalow Partnership to thank us for our support and have provided us with a supply of knitted toys for our children. How lovely!
If any of you readers can knit this is a wonderful way to use up all those bits of wool and provide some much needed comfort at the same time. For more information contact

WHO World Mental Health Day 2018
It was World Mental Health Day on 10th October and Young Minds theme this year is ‘Hello Yellow.’
Our colleagues over at Headstart – Andy Appleyard and James visited The Bungalow Partnership along with a number of schools across Middlesbrough with a Yellow Sofa – encouraging staff and pupils to sit down and have their picture taken to promote the idea that it’s ok to sit down and talk to someone.
